Carrying Goods Within Vehicles

While not included as standard in our quotations, on most routes we can offer the option to carry non-standard items within your car or ute. This may include tools, cartons, luggage or other personal effects. All items must be secured using tape or appropriate strapping to avoid damage to your vehicle, or other vehicles, throughout the course of the transport process. Several conditions apply to the carrying of non-standard items within vehicles including: You must ensure that items are not packed above the window line, so as not to block windows; The total combined weight of non-standard items must not exceed 70kg, nor contain any heavy items that could damage a vehicle whilst in transit; No flammable, dangerous, or otherwise hazardous items can be loaded; Items left within a vehicle are transported at owners risk; The normal transit protection cover for market value up to $60,000 applies only to loss or damage to the vehicle and is null and void if the damage occurs, directly or indirectly, from owner packed items; We can take no responsibility for loss of, or damage to personal items left inside a vehicle. We have moved hundreds of vehicles with items within the vehicle and have experienced no loss or damage. The only items that we have been unable to carry inside a vehicle to date has been a fridge and a washing machine.
